Sr. Unity Engineer

Location: Fully Remote
Employment Type: Contract

What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a Senior Unity Engineer with at least 5+ years of experience to join our team in crafting fun, engaging hybrid-casual mobile games. You’ll take ownership of core gameplay systems, optimize performance for mobile devices, and collaborate with designers and artists to bring creative concepts to life. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Unity (C#), a passion for mobile gaming, and experience with live ops, monetization systems (ads, IAP), and rapid prototyping. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, solving technical challenges while maintaining clean, scalable code.

This is a hands-on development role where you’ll architect features, mentor junior engineers, and help shape best practices for our growing studio. Experience with mobile-specific optimizations (memory, battery, FPS), UI/UX implementation, and cross-platform development is a plus. If you love building polished, high-performing games that millions of players enjoy—and want to work in a collaborative, hybrid/remote-friendly setting—we’d love to hear from you!

Who You Are

We’re looking for a self-driven go-getter who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. You’re not just a coder—you’re a product-minded engineer who understands what makes mobile games engaging, sticky, and monetizable. You take initiative, proactively identify technical and design improvements, and aren’t afraid to experiment with new ideas. Whether it’s optimizing ad revenue flow, refining gameplay feel, or solving performance bottlenecks, you approach challenges with a player-first mindset and a bias for action.

You’re a lifelong learner who stays ahead of mobile trends, SDKs, and best practices—always asking, “How can we make this better?” You collaborate well with artists, designers, and data teams but can also own your work independently, delivering polished features with minimal hand-holding. Most importantly, you’re passionate about building games that players love—not just engineering for engineering’s sake. If you’re the type of person who plays mobile games and instinctively analyzes their mechanics, economy, and retention hooks, you’ll fit right in.
